I started this blog to log my journey from 0 to wherever I end up.

    I started of running in Sept 2017 and a year later ran my first marathon. My ultimate aim is to do the 6 major marathons (in a decent time) and run a couple of ultras.

    Although my current fitness level is improving I still struggled on my first marathon and running the hills of the peak district is immensely difficult. I am still overweight and have a long way to go in order to qualify for the Boston marathon (one of the 6 major marathons).

    In the last year I have run over 200 routes from parkruns to marathons and want to share some of my favorite routes in the Peak District and other areas of Northern England.
